what kind of fondant do you use?

    • 02/03/2012 7:27 am

It depends…if I am covering a cake, I make my own. The recipe is on the blog under fondant. If I am just using it for decorations and not eating it, I will use the store bought stuff–usually the wilton kind.

I used my chocolate cake recipe for the cakes–a 10 inch and an 8 inch. I frosted them with my buttercream and they were covered with MMF. All of those recipes are found on the blog. The mario cake is detailed in a blog post too…you can find it in the cake category on the side. let me know if ya have anymore questions! :)

How much did you charge for the Dallas cheerleader cake?

    • 03/13/2013 5:57 pm

It was done for our cousin, so I didn’t charge! If I did it today, I would probably charge $90-$110, just depending on how much cake and details you have. :)
